Upcoming Kung Fu brawler Sifu has been confirmed for a February 22 release date by developer Sloclap.

The news came during last night’s Gamescom Opening Night Live broadcast by way of a new trailer. The footage also revealed several new locations you’ll be fighting through as you seek revenge for your family’s murder. These include the rooftops of the city slums and an art museum to name just two.

It was also revealed during the show that there’ll be exclusive pre-order content for those who secure their copy early. The Standard Edition comes with a Special Avatar Pack and an Exclusive Photomode Cinematic Pack. Meanwhile the Deluxe Edition includes that, a digital art book and soundtrack and the ability to play 48 hours ahead of release.

Sifu was first unveiled back in February and sees you go after a mysterious squad of assassins who’ve murdered your family. The good news is, you’ve got a magical pendant that will revive you on death. The bad news is each resurrection will cause you to age significantly, meaning you’ll become more learned, but also more fragile. Think Old meets John Wick, and you’ll get the idea.

Check out the new Sifu release date trailer below. The game heads our way on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC on February 22.
