Activision has announced The Peanuts Movie: Snoopy’s Grand Adventure, a new side-scrolling platformer coming to PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS on November 6. A PS3 version has not been announced.
Inspired by the upcoming movie, Snoopy’s Grand Adventure lets 1-2 players jump into the role of Snoopy and his flying partner Woodstock as they explore worlds set in the imagination of the classic cartoon pup, including the jungle, the Parisian Underground and the Moon.
New costumes that grant Snoopy special abilities to access new areas will be unlocked throughout the game, too, including a Flying Ace outfit that gives him the ability to fly.
The game is being developed by Behaviour Interactive, the same studio behind Naughty Bear, Wet and the last-gen ports of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, and is expected to be a physical release.
