Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One has a new cinematic trailer, featuring a young Sherlock who cries in the rain.
During IGN’s Summer of Gaming Expo, yesterday, the Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One trailer gave us a glimpse of the story. It seems to feature a young and sexy Sherlock, with a Watson who might be a figment of his imagination.
Check out the trailer:
The description reads:
“In a new Sherlock Holmes Chapter One cinematic trailer, we get a glimpse at Holmes’ incredible mystery solving abilities as he sets to tackle a crime that hits close to home.”
Close to home? Indeed, we do see Sherlock kneeling at the grave of one Violet Holmes. We also see the setting, a Mediterranean island honeyed in sunlight, with Sherlock dozing on terracotta tiles.
The last game in the Sherlock Holmes series was Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter, which Jamie Trinca reviewed for VideoGamer. He said:
“Devil’s Daughter is not a bad Frogwares Sherlock Holmes game. In fact, it’s one of its best, but it’s not the title I was hoping for – the one that would finally realise all the sizzling potential that this series has had locked away behind nonsense for years. Still, it’s a fair old romp. Again.”
Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One is scheduled for release “in 2021 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.”
