Ys Net has unleashed a fresh batch of Shenmue III screenshots, and they’re all a bit…well, mannequin-y. This probably isn’t much of a surprise, seeing as how Ryo and chums have looked dead-eyed ever since the sequel was unveiled nearly three years ago. 

This latest bunch shines the spotlight on some new characters and a bunch of lovely-looking environments. Ryo’s also in there, and once again does a bang up job at impersonating a bungalow; there’s really nothing going on up stairs from the dead look in his eyes. 

Shenmue III is currently in development for PC and PS4 and will launch at some point this year. The game was unveiled during Sony’s E3 2015 press conference, where creator Yu Suzuki launched the project on Kickstarter. 

Shenmue III eventually went on to raise a cool $6.3 million, and became the fastest video game on the crowdfunding website to hit the one million mark. Check out the latest screenshots below.
