A new game update for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor has stealthily added a photo mode to the acclaimed action title, gamers are reporting.

When activated photo mode enables players to freeze the game and compose the perfect shot. In addition to a free camera, you’ve got zoom, depth of field and a host of filters which can be applied before taking the snap with a click of the left stick.

The game update is 600MB on PS4 and 700MB on Xbox One.

To actually save the pictures you’ll need to make use of the Share button on PS4, but sadly there’s currently no way of doing this on Xbox One.
