The Australian Classification Board has had to re-classify The Darkness II following the addition of a sex scene.

A spokesperson for 2K told MCV Pacific that the game had to be reassessed in December, following a previous classification in July.

While the assigned rating of MA15+ hasn’t changed, the game now carries a warning that it contains sex scenes, along with “strong horror violence, blood and gore and coarse language”.

The spokesperson added that none of the previous content has been cut or edited.
