Video game designer Seth Killian has confirmed he left God of War developer Sony Santa Monica back in December 2013.

“Hi guys, I chose to leave my Sony family back in Dec + on great terms,” Tweeted Killian. “I was inspired by their amazing indies to do my own thing :)”

Killian added that it won’t be long until fans get to see some of the games he worked on during his time at the Sony studio.

“You’ll see the games I had the privilege to work on at Sony soon – SMS has a STELLAR lineup coming,” he Tweeted.

He added that you’ll have to “stay tuned” to see what he’s up to next.

Back in February Sony Santa Monica was hit by staff layoffs following the cancellation of a new IP. God of War 3 director Stig Asmussen was said to be heavily involved in the new game and left following its cancellation.
