In development at UK-based Kuju Brighton, Crush is described as a new concept which will challenge how players traditionally approach games. Crush is set within a complex, hypnotic 3D world, where players will use the game’s unique crush mechanic to transform the game world into a simplified 2D platformer.

By crushing the 3D world into a 2D platformer, players will be able to move to new areas to solve puzzles that would otherwise have been impossible.

Crush tells the story of Dan, a man who has turned into a nervous insomniac and is too tired to change his life. In a last attempt to cure his insomnia he turns to hypnosis, and it’s during this state that he must sort through his life’s wreckage before he goes insane.

Crush is scheduled for release on the PSP in summer 2007.
