SEGA has today confirmed that the BioWare developed Sonic RPG, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood will be released for Nintendo DS during 2008.

BioWare, recently acquired by Electronic Arts, has an impressive pedigree having created some of the most highly regarded video games for both PC and console platforms. These include Baldur’s Gate and Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire and Mass Effect.

SEGA is remaining tight lipped on the project, but some info has been slowly appearing.
