Milestone has released the first screenshots of Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo, offering players the first look at this autumn’s PS4/Xbox One rally racer.

The shots show off the Swedish location players will get to race around later this year, with publisher Pqube claiming that “scrupulous care” has been taken to reconstruct the environments.

Developed using Milestone’s proprietary engine, the game is said to feature advanced lighting and vegetation systems “faithfully reproducing what the player would see while competing in Rally Sweden”.

“Among the most noticeable improvements are: the tracking system for tyre marks,” the publisher says, “redesigned to take account of the different surfaces; the advanced rendering features of the new shader, bringing out the best of the new environments and the bodywork of the cars, with an advanced Real Time reflection system; and a new camera system featuring dynamic focus effects and television-style framing during Replays.”

Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo launches this autumn exclusively on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
