Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo has been delayed to early 2016 to let Milestone deliver a “higher quality” experience, PQube has announced.
The game had previously been due to arrive on PS4, Xbox One and PC this October.
“Sébastien Loeb Rally EVO is the biggest project ever made by Milestone since now,” the studio’s VP Luisa Bixio said while commenting on the delay. “We’ve decided to postpone it to focus more on the title development. This release date change will offer to the players a rally simulation that represents a higher quality on the videogame experience.”
The delay now gives rival rally game WRC 5 the opportunity to race ahead this Christmas when it arrives on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita and PC in October.
Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo, however, promises to be the “biggest rally game ever”, offering over 300km of roads and more than 50 cars from 16 manufacturers.
