The release of PES 2010 is just around the corner, but according to series producer Shingo ‘Seabass’ Takatsuka the future of the franchise could see PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers making use of motion-control technology.

“Up until 2009 we believed all the platforms should have the same controls and features,” said Seabass at the PES European Championships in Nice. “That’s no longer the case, because there are specific controllers for different machines, what with Natal and the PlayStation motion sensor system. I cannot say much, but I can say we are looking at integrating those devices into our games very aggressively.”

With Sony’s motion controller scheduled for a spring debut and Natal expected at some point in 2010, it’s not out of the question that PES 2011 will offer some form of motion control support.

PES 2010 is scheduled for release on October 23 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
