Pirate game Sea of Thieves is getting an official tabletop roleplaying game incarnation, the game's official Twitter account has revealed.
Published by Mongoose Publishing, the Sea of Thieves Roleplaying Game will see you 'race other pirates to buried treasure, fight Skeleton Captains on tropical islands, tackle Voyages for the Gold Hoarders, Order of Souls and Merchant Alliance, and brave Megalodons and Krakens as they rise up from the depths to thwart your enterprises.'
It comes with books for the rules, lore and campaigns, a giant map, six cards for tracking your pirate legend progress, eighteen dice and of course all the tokens and cards you'll need to play. Additionally, buying the table-top version will also entitle you to some exclusive Lord Guardian Sails for your ship in-game.
Pre-orders are being taken now, with access to the e-book version right away. The physical versions of the game are set to be shipped out in October of this year. There's full details plus pre-order information on the official website.
