The Camera will be released in Japan on November 2 and is estimated to retail at around 5,000 yen (£22). As well as being able to snap images at 1.3 Megapixels it will also be able to shoot video and record sound with its built-in mono microphone.

The GPS receiver will go on sale in Japan on December 7 and will retail for only 6,000 yen (£27). The device will be compatible with a number of PSP games, including the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and the next instalment in the Everybody’s Golf series.

We’ll hear and see more of both devices at the Tokyo Game Show which begins on September 22.
