Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced that while it is unable to confirm the PAL release date for God of War III, it hopes to get the game into stores in the same week as in North America – the game’s out in the US on March 16.
“Whilst I can’t confirm the exact date for PAL, I wanted to let you know say that we are aiming to release God of War III across PAL regions during the same week [as North America]. I will confirm this as soon as I can so watch this space, the wait will be over soon!” said SCEE senior European product manager Thach Quach.
Having previously appeared in two games on PS2 and a solitary adventure on PSP, God of War III marks Kratos’ first appearance on PS3.
In addition to the standard edition, God of War junkies can opt for the God of War Ultimate Trilogy, which features God of War III, HD remakes of God of War I and II, plus a host of bonus content and a cool collector’s Pandora’s Box.
