Speaking to Spanish website Canarias Al Dia, Sony Computer Entertainment Portugal CEO James Armstrong has revealed the platform holder hopes to release Gran Turismo 5 this autumn.
“We think that we’ll release in autumn, before Christmas, but it’s not decided yet,” said Armstrong.
He added that the game won’t be released until it’s ready, with the priority being game quality over rushing it to stores.
It’s also worth pointing out that Armstrong’s comments come via a rough translation – both human and Google – so there’s a possibility something has been lost in translation.
Gran Turismo 5 had been scheduled for a March 31 release in Japan, although a delay quickly followed.
