Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58-7583 – Is it worth it?

The Acer Nitro 5 no doubt is up in the charts alongside the likes of Asus TUF Gaming F15 and the MSI GP66 Vector. The Acer Nitro 5 boasts sweet build quality and a sleek design that supports a stunning display and resolution. At 360 x 271 x 25mm, it is a solid and well made design.

The laptop provides optimal gameplay for 1440p resolution which is perfect for those who are anticipating the Baldur’s Gate 3 release. If we’re comparing to previous Nitro designs, there has been issues with noise when the fans are running at maximum. However, develops have been made in extending the airflow system which has resulted in minimal noise.

The one downfall may be the battery size with a capacity of just 57.8Wh. The battery has still proved better than previous models with the battery life lasting just under 5 hours unplugged. No doubt other laptops have a longer duration but overall, we think the benefits outweigh. The Acer Nitro 5 delivers excellent 1080p gaming performance with a high-quality keyboard, the option to add 2.5 in HDD to system, a MUX switch and a quick SSD.
