Sand Land is based on the Japanese manga series of the same name created by Toriyama in 2000. Billed as an action RPG, Sand Land features vehicular combat across the vast desert and various other locations as you take control of Beelzebub. This character leads a group of people who are searching for the legendary hidden spring in the desert. As you explore, you’ll use vehicles to fight and travel, which seemingly are customisable to help you navigate the land.
Most of the time, you will be fighting and exploring. Both of these are done inside tanks and other vehicles, but you can also run around on foot and fight that way. It seems like there will be some form of base-building in Sand Land, where you can develop your camp in a city called Spino. During your travels, you can bring people into Spino and help build up the area.
