Saints Row was originally intended to be a launch window title for the Xbox 360, but numerous delays have meant it’s now due in September. The game has been criticised for copying the GTA series, but others have praised it for its excellent physics and well implemented controls.

Everyone with an Xbox Live account (other than those in Germany and Mexico) can try the game out for themselves, but the 905 MB demo might take a while to download on Xbox Live’s notoriously slow servers. The demo is single-player only, so you’ll have to take a look at the retail release to experience the online multiplayer modes included in the game.

Check back in September for a review.
