Saints Row 4 bounces onto Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on August 20, 2013 in North America, and on August 23, 2013 in Europe, Deep Silver has announced.
Continuing the story of the Third Street Saints, Saints Row 4 sees players playing as the US president in a virtual simulation of Steelport, which has come under invasion from an alien menace.
The debut trailer – which you can check out below – gives an insight into what to expect from the latest Saints, including monster trucks, mechs and a variety of crazy weapons, like a head-popping ray gun and a rocket launcher shaped like a guitar case. Obviously.
You’ll also have access to “gargantuan superpowers” including, the trailer reveals, the ability to freeze your foes, glide through the skies and run at super speed.

“Saints Row 4 lets players delve into an arsenal of alien weaponry and technology that will turn each Saint into an ultimate entity of destruction,” said Deep Silver. “Utilize out-of-this-world superpowers to fight all the way to the top.
“With intensified action and enhanced customization, players can use their newfound superpowers and leap over buildings, outrun the fastest sports cars, or send enemies flying with telekinesis in the greatest, most insane installment of Saints Row yet.”
