Now that we’re on the launch day, many of us want to know the exact Ryzen 7 7800X3D release time. However, as is often the case, we have no confirmation from AMD, only our own intuition and the history of previous releases to go off.

Ryzen’s latest X3D processor champions 3D V-caching – a hardware matrix which stacks cache, rather than linearly laying it ‘side-by-side.’ It launches today, April 6th, and will generally release at the same time that most major hardwares launch. Nvidia’s graphics cards, such as the RTX 4070 Ti, and Intel’s CPUs including the Intel Core i9 13900KS, have all typically launched at the same time:

2PM GMT / 3PM CET / 6:30PM IST / 9AM ET / 8AM CT / 6AM PT.

Ryzen 7 7800X3D release time prediction

As stated above, we know roughly when most hardware’s launch across the world. This time is roughly centralised to 9AM Eastern Time, which seems to be the start of the working day.

If you’re in the UK – this translates to 2PM GMT.

These are the times we’re expecting to see for the release of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, however, of course, there is no confirmation from AMD as of yet. We don’t expect them to announce it either, as is often the case. Products will likely filter onto different retailers such as Amazon and Best Buy following on from the release time.

That said, with the Ryzen 9 7950X3D and the Ryzen 9 7900X3D, we didn’t see the products hit the shelves fully for a few hours after our expected release time. We did see a few buying links available at 2PM, though most retailers really took their time.
