Ryse: Son of Rome DLC, Mars’ Chosen Pack, will be released on February 28, priced $8.99 or as part of the Season Pass, Microsoft and Crytek have announced.
The new DLC includes new maps, a Legionary character skin and brand-new cooperative gameplay in Survival Mode.
In Survival mode the objective is to fight for as long as you can, battling alongside a fellow gladiator against endless waves of barbarians as your health gradually drains.
Two of the five new maps – Firestorm and Dockyard – have been specially created for Survival Mode, whilst the game’s most popular map – Courtyard – has been optimised for Survival Mode. The other two maps – Pyramid and Obelisk – take players to Ancient Egypt Arena Mode.
Building up to the DLC’s launch there will be 10 days of sales on Ryse: Son of Rome content via the Xbox Games Store.
Beginning tomorrow until February 24 Ryse: Son of Rome will be available at a discounted price via Games on Demand – £34.99 in the UK. There will also be daily discounts on February 25 to 27, details of which will be announced via the usual channels.
