Rugby 15 is still due to release on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita and PC this year, Bigben Interactive has confirmed, although a firm release date has yet to be set.

Little has been seen of the game following its announcement back in April, leading to some concerns over its whereabouts.

But the game will ship this winter, Bigben promises, and include all 12 teams from the Guinness PRO12 alongside the previously announced Aviva Premiership Rugby and Top 14 licenses.

“With the integration of the Guinness PRO12, Rugby 15 now features 4 leagues from the main European championships, to offer gamers and rugby fans all the drama and emotion of Europe’s greatest competitions,” the publisher says.

Alongside the announcement of the new league, Bigben also released 6 new screenshots of the game in action. Head through the link to check them out.

It doesn’t look too hot to me, but hey, I’m no rugby expert. Impressed? Disappointed? Let us know in the comments.
