EA has announced that Real Madrid and Brazil midfielder Kaka has been chosen for the cover of EA Sports FIFA 11.
The 28-year-old Brazilian football hero will be the centre-piece of global advertising, marketing and promotional campaigns for the game and is part of an iconic group of 17 football stars who will adorn FIFA 11 worldwide.
In the UK Kaka is joined by Manchester United and England striker Wayne Rooney, who graces the pack for the sixth consecutive year.
“I’ve always been a fan of EA Sports and especially the FIFA series,” said Kaka. “Being on the FIFA 11 cover is a great honour for me since very few players have this opportunity, and there have been some great footballers featured on the cover of this truly amazing football game.”
FIFA 11 will be released October 1 in Europe.
