Rogue Trooper puts the player in control of a Genetic Infantryman named Rogue. He is one of an elite group of biologically-engineered clone troops, who have been created to overcome Nu Earth’s hostile atmosphere and fight to defeat the brutal Nort War machine. Things go wrong when Rogue witnesses the extermination of his entire regiment at the Quartz Zone Massacre. Determined to hunt down the general that ordered the death of his brothers-in-arms, Rogue goes AWOL on a mission for revenge.

The game mixes third-person action and stealth gameplay as you wreak havoc on enemies with the very latest experimental weaponry. Encoded bio-chips containing the digitised personalities of his fallen comrades are implanted in his gun, helmet and backpack, and offer Rogue their military experience. Rogue Trooper will also feature co-op play for up to four players online or two players on a split-screen.

Rogue Trooper is scheduled for release on PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC across Europe on April 21.
