A series of job openings at Rocksteady Studios, the developer behind the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham trilogy, have indicated the firm is gearing up to announce its long-awaited new AAA project.

The British-based developer is currently hiring for three marketing-related jobs, including Lead Brand Artist, Senior User Researcher, and Promo Artist (Video). While that might not sound particularly exciting at first glance, the descriptions for the roles are quite tantalizing.

For starters, the Lead Brand Artist will be tasked with making 'world-class marketing materials for an exciting AAA game' (via PlayStationLifestyle). The Promo Artist meanwhile will be crafting trailers and video assets to play a key role in the 'global marketing campaign for a very high profile, triple-A game franchise.' Sounds pretty big, right?

Rocksteady's last major release was Batman: Arkham VR, although since then rumours have been circulating that it's working on a Superman game – something it later came out and denied.

Hopefully we'll find out what it's been up to all this time, perhaps at E3 in June.
