Psyonix, independent developer and publisher of the smash-hit Rocket League, revealed new content during the annual Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) Season Three World Championship in Los Angeles, CA.

The Second Anniversary Update launches on July 5, featuring a new arena aptly named Champions Field. This is a standard, modern-looking stadium which will be available in Competitive, Casual and Private matches.

This update will also bring to an end Competitive Season 4, and the start of the new succinctly named Competitive Season 5. Also included is the new addition Rocket League Radio, featuring eighteen music tracks from the record label Monstercat.

The Anniversary Update launches on Rocket League’s second birthday, which takes place on July 7, 2017. Since its release Rocket League’s community has grown to more than 31 million players. That is quite a lot of players… 31 million ‘quites’ in this case.

To celebrate the occasion, Psyonix dropped a new trailer for this landmark date.Â
