Harmonix has knocked 50 per cent off the price of over 1,100 songs available to buy from the Rock Band Music Store.
The sale, which starts today, sees tracks from Nirvana, The Who, Foo Fighters, Ozzy Osbourne, Slipknot, Blink-182, Oasis and more reduced to half price to celebrate the release of downloadable music game Rock Band Blitz.
As well as individual tracks, a selection of associated music packs have also been reduced to half price.
The sale is available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii.
“With tracks playable in both Rock Band 3 and Rock Band Blitz, now is the perfect time to add to your collection of favourite songs for the world’s best music gaming platform!” Harmonix said about the promotion.
