Harmonix and MTV Games have announced the launch of the Rock Band Music Store for Wii, with 50 songs available to download now and more to come over the weeks ahead.

To get the service up and running there are 50 tracks available for download, including 20 free songs and 30 songs previously made available to purchase for other console versions. On the Wii Rock Band Music Store each song is priced 200 Wii Points.

Expect the tracks to come thick and fast over the coming weeks, with the entire back catalogue of more than 500 songs to be made available on the Wii Rock Band Music Store. Additionally, regularly scheduled DLC releases for other consoles will also be available for Rock Band 2 on Wii starting in February.
