Most of you who are old enough to remember when Grant Mitchell went mental and smashed up the Queen Vic in EastEnders have probably played a Double Dragon game at some point. Chances are you haven't played Return of Double Dragon, though. That's okay, as it was only released in Japan back in 1992.

Return of Double Dragon is the original version of Super Double Dragon (still keeping up?), the latter of which did see the light of day in the US.

Now, Retroism has announced that it will be revamping Return of Double Dragon this summer for North American audiences, and it'll even be playable on your SNES if it's still knocking around and not choking under a layer of dust.

It's out on July 19 and even comes priced at $49.99, which is the same price you would have paid for it 26 years ago. How cool is that?

Anyway, Return of Double Dragon gives you a wealth of new content not see in its western counterpart, such as an arranged soundtrack, new abilities, tougher bad guyd to punch in the face, two extra stages within the final mission, plus additional difficulty settings.

If you don't have a SNES then it's no biggie, as you can play it on any third-party device that also accepts the old-school cartridges.
