Vblank Entertainment has revealed its first full trailer for Shakedown Hawaii, an open world adventure from the minds behind Retro City Rampage. An action-based business satire, Shakedown Hawaii will have the player building a ‘legitimate’ corporation through open world missions, by acquiring property, competitor sabotage, commercial manipulation and shaking down the competition. I see what they did there.

In Shakedown Hawaii you play an aging, workout-loving CEO, stranded in a world that seems to have evolved beyond his understanding and completely passed him by. Having seen his businesses destroyed by modern online retail, taxi ridesharing, and the death of video rentals, he realises he needs to modernise at all costs or lose everything.

The game features a colourful pixelated art style, with a retro, comedy action adventure slant. With its tongue firmly in cheek, Shakedown Hawaii tasks the player with taking over the whole island by building your corporate empire and destroying all competitors through a variety of nefarious means. Seems legit.

There’s no release date just yet, but Shakedown: Hawaii will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, PS4, PS Vita and PC.
