Resident Evil’s upcoming shooter spin-off Umbrella Corps has been delayed until June 21, Capcom has confirmed. The game had previously been scheduled to release in May.

The month-long delay will help the team “spend some extra time optimizing the game to bring you the best experience possible”, the publisher said on Capcom-Unity, with the game still scheduled to release digitally on PS4 and PC for £24.99.

Umbrella Corps is a third-person online shooter that “pits players against one another in dangerous battlefields brimming with bio-organic threats”, including maps based on areas from Resident Evil 4 and 5.
