Resident Evil: Revelations, which launched for 3DS back in January to mixed reviews, looks set to make an appearance on Xbox 360 and PS3, according to a listing on the Korean Ratings Board.
The game’s creation on Capcom’s internal MT Framework engine may make for a painless transition to Xbox 360 and PS3.
Capcom has previously published HD versions of classic Resident Evil titles (Resi 4 and Code Veronica) digitally, but a fully reworked and enhanced Revelations could stand as a budget priced retail release too.
Revelations marked a return to the series’ horror roots, with less emphasis on explosive gun-based action, as seen in Resi 5 and more recently Resi 6.
We’ve asked Capcom for comment.
