A third playable character for Resident Evil Revelations 2 appears to have been confirmed via the game’s ESRB listing.

Be warned that reading on may spoil a major plot point of the game.

So far we know that Claire Redfield will be joined by new character Moira Burton in the game’s lead roles, but Moira’s father Barry also looks set to return to the franchise after a long absence.

“This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the roles of an imprisoned woman and a father searching for his daughter on an island,” writes the ESRB.

Names aren’t mentioned but Moira and Barry seem to fit the bill. In addition elements of the game already shown off revealed an abandoned island prison, which ties in nicely with the ESRB blurb.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 will launch in early 2015 over the course of four episodes, each lasting approximately two hours. A disc release containing all four episodes and additional content will follow shortly after the launch of the final episode.
