Update: Capcom has announced the game for release in Europe early in 2015 on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
Original story: Resident Evil Revelations 2 will release in early 2015 in Japan, Capcom announced during Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference.
Although revealed for PS4, it’s safe to assume we’ll also see the title on Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 – the game’s cover art had earlier been revealed on the Xbox 360 product page.
The first game originally released for 3DS and was later ported to PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360. The same team is handling the sequel, but characters Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine won’t return.
Revelations 2 will feature new characters and a new setting.
The game will be playable for the first time at TGS which begins in a few weeks on September 18.
