Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection, featuring high definition versions of Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, will be released as a PS3 digital download this June, Capcom has announced. The games will be offered individually at a later date.
The games have been remastered for PS3 with high definition graphics and PS Move compatibility, complete with local cooperative player and trophies.
The Umbrella Chronicles features eight playable characters, including Rebecca Chambers, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. As seen previously in the Nintendo Wii version the title also features a brand new chapter in Resident Evil history. The Darkside Chronicles plot takes players back to the story of Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield trying to escape the nightmares of Raccoon City, whilst finally revealing the truth behind Leon and Krauser’s feud.
The two titles are some of the best examples of lightgun games in recent times.
