Resident Evil 7 makes it two weeks at the top of the UK Video Game Chart, needing one more week to match the franchise’s best performers Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 5.
With PS4 action game Nioh being the only major new release to contend with, Resi 7 may well achieve a third week at No.1.
GTA 5 is a non-mover at No.2, followed by FIFA 17 and Hitman: The Complete First Season which is new at No.4. Hitman first entered the chart at No.29 around a year ago when Episode 1 and a season pass was bundled together in a collector’s edition.
Infinite Warfare sales are up 4 per cent on the back of the Sabotage DLC release for PS4, but the game is a non-mover at No.5.
The only other new entry inside the Top 40 is Nintendo’s Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World for 3DS at No.20.
