What is Mad Chainsaw mode in Resident Evil 4 Remake Demo?
The Mad Chainsaw mode in the Resident Evil 4 Remake demo is apparently an extreme difficulty challenge that can only be triggered randomly. If this feature is activated during your playthrough, you’ll be given the choice of either accepting or declining the challenge.

Accepting it will allow you to attempt the grueling challenge wherein the villagers are much more active and deal increased damage. If you choose to decline it, however, the demo will revert to its standard difficulty, which enables you to play it through it normally.
How to activate Mad Chainsaw mode in Resident Evil 4 Remake Demo
In order to activate Mad Chainsaw mode, you will simply have to start up the demo and begin a new game. Keep in mind, though, that since this feature can only be triggered randomly, you may have to restart and attempt it a few times before it activates.
Once it does trigger, however, you’ll immediately be able to recognize it because once you press new game, a message will soon appear saying that “Mad Chainsaw mode” is incoming. You will then be given the option to either accept or decline after which the demo begins as soon as you choose.
