Resident Evil 2 looks set to receive a playable demo for Xbox One, according to store listing (via IGN) for something called '1-Shot' demo.

According to the description of the teaser, Resi 2's demo will apparently last 30 minutes, although during this time you can die multiple times and it won't end. The demo takes place in the Raccoon Police Department, a major location in both the remake and the 1998 original.

The demo will reportedly launch on January 11, 2019 and will be available until January 31.

Resident Evil 2 is due for release on January 25, 2019 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. I recently played about four hours of the game, and had an absolute blast with the survival horror revamp.

Rumours have suggested that Capcom is already beavering way on a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
