Capcom has announced that gamers will soon be able to get their hands on a two-level Resident Evil 5 playable demo, available exclusively on Xbox 360 for one week beginning January 26.
The demo will feature support for two player co-op and is set near the beginning of the game, with players able to tackle the Assembly Place and Shanty Town levels. The demo has three levels of co-op play: single-player with AI support, two-player split-screen on a single Xbox 360 and two-player across Xbox LIVE.
In addition, an exclusive high definition trailer of the game, previously only shown at the Tokyo Game Show 2008, will be made available for download on Xbox LIVE Marketplace on January 16, 2009.
Resident Evil 5 is scheduled for release for Xbox 360 and PS3 on March 13, 2009.
