Is Tuesday November 6 the release date for Halo 4, everyone’s favourite alien-blasting pew-pew FPS?
The Verge seems to think so, and it also believes the date will be confirmed before 5pm GMT today.
Alongside this everyone’s favourite walking, talking Xbox brand mouthpiece Major Nelson has hinted that something Halo-related might show up on today’s episode of late-night US talk show Conan O’ Brien.
“Look for #Halo4 news on the way in the next 24 hours. Hint: @TeamCoco plays a part!” the Major subtly Tweeted. You know it’s a properly corporate post when it uses a hash tag like that.
343 Industries senior producer Alison Stroll also hopped onboard the hype express, potentially hoping to spin it completely out of control: “A little birdy (or was it Andy?) told us @TeamCoco will have some big Halo 4 news tomorrow. Stay tuned! #incoming #wakeupjon”
Stroll forgot to make Halo 4 into a hash tag, though. She’s probably getting told off right now.
