Rock Band developer Harmonix has released Record Run, a free-to-play rhythm runner that turns your device’s music tracks into levels.
“Record Run puts you in the middle of your music, chasing records and dodging obstacles to the beat in a crazy musical world. With gameplay levels created to play along with your music, this is a whole new way to run!” explains the game’s iTunes blurb.
The description adds: “Users select songs from the music library on their device and run through levels along with their music that are created on the spot by all new Harmonix magic.”
The game also features your usual array of leaderboards and such.
Record Run is available on iOS now with a version for Android also said to be in development.
