According to this week’s edition of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu (seen by IGN), classic Resident Evil characters Rebecca Chambers and Barry Burton are making a comeback as playable characters in Resident Evil 5’s Mercenaries Reunion mode.
Mercenaries Reunion will be available as DLC for owners of the original Resident Evil 5 or as part of the Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition which hits stores on March 12.
Gold Edition (also via DLC) will also feature the Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape episodes in which players join Jill Valentine and BSAA Agent Josh Stone.
