Blue Enthropy Studios has announced its new game Reaching For Petals, coming to Steam later this Summer.
As you can see from the trailer below, it looks really pretty, and has a bit of the Edith Finch vibes about it. Developer Blue Enthropy describes the game as ‘a poetic adventure about love, loss, and ambition, set in a desolated world full of mystery.’
The story is a mix of present day and the protagonist revisiting memories from their life that flesh out the story of Reaching For Petals.
There’s said to be some puzzle-solving and decision-making involved too, in order to ‘tell an engaging and heartfelt story.’
Obviously with a title like this the story has to be on-point, and we know very little about that at this point. But this might be one-to-watch for those that are fans of the first-person wandering jaunts like Firewatch and Dear Esther.
