Rayman Origins is to receive a sequel, if a survey by marketing firm Arkenford is a sign of what’s to come. The survey, noticed by Kotaku, even reveals the first info on the game.

“The sequel to Rayman Origins will feature brand new settings: legendary worlds filled with castles, vampires, ghosts, Greek gods or dragons,” read the survey information.

Rayman Origins 2 will reportedly feature the same multiplayer found in the 2011 original, but level designs will be less out-there – something fans of the first game might not be overly thrilled about.

Ubisoft is yet to announce the game and no release date information has been revealed.

A sequel to Rayman Origins would be great news, but it certainly didn’t look likely at one point. The game failed to set the charts on fire, but it proved to be a steady seller for Ubisoft – something the PS Vita game helped when it arrived alongside the new handheld.
