Rayman Legends will release on August 30, 2013 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U, Ubisoft has announced.
The date is a month earlier than previously expected. Back in February, Ubisoft announced that Rayman Legends had been delayed until September to allow it to launch simultaneously on all platforms, missing its previous March release date.
Bringing the game forward a month could prove to be a shrewd move from Ubi, putting it ahead of September’s big blockbuster GTA 5 and the imminent next-gen launch.
The game was initially due to go on sale alongside Wii U last November.
Rayman Legends Challenges, a free downloadable application featuring daily and weekly challenges, launched on Wii U today.
