The Rayman Legends Online Challenges download will be released free of charge on April 25, Nintendo has confirmed.
The free download gives Wii U players the opportunity to compete in daily and weekly challenges, each accessed via four different paintings. All challenges will be supported by their own leaderboard.
It remains to be seen if this freebie is enough to appease Wii U gamers who had expected to be playing the full Rayman Legends game around the launch of the console. Instead the game is now coming in September to Wii U, Xbox 360 and PS3.
