Rayman creator Michel Ancel has been pictured protesting against the delayed release of Rayman Legends on Wii U, reports Eurogamer.

Ancel is seen alongside developers from Ubisoft Montpelier with a banner stating “Sortez nous Rayman. Soutient a Ubi Montpellier.”

This translates to “Release Rayman. Support Ubisoft Montpelier.”

The banner also features art of a crying Rayman and crowds holding banners featuring the text “Wii U” and “28/02/13”, which relates to the game’s planed release date.

Last week Ubisoft announced a new September release date for Rayman Legends, also confirming versions for PS3 and Xbox 360.
