Ratchet & Clank: QForce will receive a new game update this week introducing two additional upgrade levels to weapons, Insomniac Games has announced.
In addition, a further free update is on track for early 2013 which promises to include a free Metropolis multiplayer map.
Each update will also come with a host of tweaks and fixes based on player feedback.
Developer Tin Giant is finishing work on the PS Vita version, which should be ready early in 2013. As a Cross Buy game, those who buy or have already bought the PS3 game be able to download the Vita version at no extra cost.
Further away in 2013 expect a few more character skins and multiplayer maps to be released.
