Released back in 1983 on the Spectrum, Jetpac is making a return with Jetpac Refuelled for Xbox Live Arcade. The game challenges players to collect the wreckage from your crashed spaceship while avoiding and shooting aliens which come at you from all angles. Once you’ve got the ship back in one piece you have to get some fuel and then fly off to another planet.

With the Xbox 360 game players will have more than 100 levels and more enemies to contend with. As you progress the camera will zoom out giving a larger area to play in and more aliens to take down. The game’s been given an impressive visual boost and now sports a nice array of effects to light up the screen.

Also included is four-player multiplayer either on one console or over Xbox Live. In this mode you’ll compete to fix up your ship and then refuel.

There’s no info on pricing or a release date just yet, but we do have a rather nice trailer you can take a look at over on Pro-G TV.
